Should I file FAFSA or TASFA?
| Application | Who should start there? |
|---|---|
| FAFSA | U.S. citizens and eligible noncitizens should start with the federal FAFSA. Add Texas A&M using school code 003632. |
| TASFA | Students who are ineligible for federal aid due to their status and can establish Texas residency for tuition should check the Texas A&M TASFA eligibility and filing instructions. |
Use the form for your enrollment year. The Texas A&M FAFSA page lists each aid year separately and confirms 2025 income for 2027–28.
When is the 2027–28 aid priority date?
File before the January 15, 2027 Texas A&M priority date. The university says it generally receives an online FAFSA within a week, while paper applications can take three to five weeks to reach and be processed by Texas A&M. Check the university financial aid dates for awards with separate timing.
