Get or replace your Texas A&M student ID

Request your first Aggie Card through Student Business Services. Submit the photo using the link sent to your university email and wait for pickup instructions. Use the separate lost-card instructions for a replacement.

How do I get my first Aggie Card?

  1. Open the Student ID Request from the Aggie Card Office.
  2. Check your Texas A&M email for the photo upload link. Submit a passport-style image that follows the posted rules.
  3. After your photo is approved, follow the pickup instructions in your email and bring accepted identification.

The cardholder picks up the card in person and verifies identity. Student Business Services lists examples including a driver’s license, passport or prior-year high school ID.

How do I replace a lost Aggie Card?

Use the student form on the lost or stolen card page. A photo upload link and, after approval, pickup instructions go to your Texas A&M email. As checked November 5, 2026, the Aggie Card Office fee is $12 for one College Station replacement, charged once per replacement.

Can distance education students receive a card by mail?

Eligible distance education students who cannot pick up their card on campus can select Student, then Distance Education on the Aggie Card request page. The university mails the card to the address on the form. It has no photo, so present a government-issued photo ID when using it to verify your identity.
